What is a transfer student? A Transfer student is someone who transfers
from a 2 year College, Community College,
4 year College, or University to a
4 year College or University to complete their
degree or to achieve their academic goals. Many students take this route
for a few different reasons; they planned to transfer from a 2 year College or
Community College, they didn't like the school they were currently attending, or
transferring was an after thought that worked for them.
